You are solely responsible for the files you process using our tools. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to process your files
  • Your files do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Processing your files complies with all applicable laws

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our IP

PDFEditTool, including but not limited to its name, logo, design, code, and software, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our Service
  • Use our trademarks without prior written permission
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from our Service

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Local Processing Limitation

Because files are processed locally in your browser:

  • We cannot recover lost or corrupted files
  • We cannot assist with technical issues arising from your browser, device, or internet connection
  • We cannot be responsible for third-party access to your device or network

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDFEditTool and its operators from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your files processed using our tools.
